Seanergy 2026: Bretagne Ocean Power and Wind’Occ, together for floating wind

Seanergy 2026

On 19 and 20 May, Bretagne Ocean Power will be at Seanergy, the international offshore renewable energy event taking place this year in Nantes, at ExpoNantes.

For this 2026 edition, we are sharing our stand with Wind’Occ, the offshore renewable energy cluster of the Occitanie Region, a fellow member of France Offshore Renewables.

Two regions committed to floating wind

Brittany and Occitanie are both strongly committed to the development of floating offshore wind. Occitanie already hosts two pilot offshore wind farms and is anticipating new projects under the PPE 3 energy plan. Brittany is following the same path, with projects under development on its Atlantic and Channel coastlines. Both regions share a common conviction: floating wind is an essential pillar of France’s and Europe’s energy transition.

Floating wind made in France: the supply chain is ready

This is the central message we will be bringing to our stand: the French floating wind supply chain is a reality. Companies, R&D centres, training organisations, industrial ports — the ecosystem is established, structured and operational. With 4.5 GW of ongoing tender processes, the conditions are in place for the French industry to take its full role.

Bretagne Ocean Power and Wind’Occ together bring together more than 400 members — companies, ports, academic institutions, research laboratories and training centres. Two directories, two regions, one shared ambition.

Ports structured to support projects

Both regions have a complementary port organisation: a hub port dedicated to floater assembly and turbine integration — Brest in Brittany, Port-la-Nouvelle in Occitanie — and logistics support ports for the construction, installation and operations & maintenance phases. Each 500 MW project represents a potential of 3,000 jobs around the ports, including 500 direct jobs.
