They are already using the Port of Brest’s MRE terminal:

Haizea Wind Group, a major Spanish manufacturer of wind turbine towers, has been based in the Port of Brest since 2022, through its assembly unit, Haizea Breizh. With its local partner SPIE Industrie, it has already assembled the masts for the 62 wind turbines at the Ailes Marines wind farm in Saint-Brieuc Bay. The company is now carrying out the same type of operations with its partner for the Yeu-Noirmoutier and Dieppe-Le Tréport wind farms.

Eolink, designer of a floating wind turbine that is expected to be deployed on commercial farms from 2030, is based at the MRE terminal in the port of Brest, where it is assembling its 5 MW demonstrator.

Navantia-Windar, subcontractors to Iberdrola, these Spanish companies moved into the MRE terminal at the port of Brest in 2020 to build 34 of the 62 jacket foundations for the offshore wind farm in the Bay of Saint Brieuc.
